STT Logistics Group: A Global Partner for End-to-End Reliable Logistics Services
The logistics industry is the backbone of global trade, responsibly ensuring that goods from everyday materials to massive industrial equipment move seamlessly across borders, markets, and industries. But with increasing complexity in global trade, supply chains are becoming more complex and dynamic. This raises the demand for faster, safer, and reliable transportation services, which puts pressure on logistics service providers to innovate and deliver solutions that go beyond traditional freight brokering.
STT Logistics Group has carved a name for itself in bespoke freight brokering services. With a niche carved in heavy hauling and oversized load transportation while also providing end-to-end logistics services, STT Logistics Group is reshaping how companies approach supply chain management. With integrated technological advancements, strict security protocols, and a unique franchise model, the company is setting new standards of efficiency and transparency in the logistics sector.
From Humble beginnings to Industry Leadership
No matter how impactful an entrepreneur becomes, their journey is always anchored by a powerful goal. For Andre Corbert (Founder and CEO), the goal was simple – to hire, empower, and help individuals grow professionally. His path to logistics was unplanned, almost serendipitous. After leaving home following a personal disagreement, Andre worked a variety of labor-intensive jobs, ranging from construction to gardening, before landing a position in a call centre that specialized in freight brokerage. It was here he learned the mechanics of the logistics industry, gaining insights into brokerage, transportation coordination, and client management.
Fast forward to a few years, by 2015, Andre was running his marketing company. He was trying to onboard a new project, which, despite trying, didn’t pan out. Around that time, he reconnected with his former sales trainer from the car hauling call centre. Together, they decided to explore the idea of starting their own freight brokerage, seeing it as a way to combine their skills and offer meaningful career opportunities. They dove into the numbers and launched their operations in the car transportation sector.
What started as practical solutions evolved into something much larger. Today, STT Logistics Group is not just popular for moving goods but also a reliable partner for personalized logistic services and career-building opportunities. From humble beginnings, the company is running industry-leading operations centered on innovation and trust.
Creating Smarter & Reliable Logistics Process
One of the core areas that sets STT Logistics Group apart is reliability. Andre shares that when they began, other companies manually vetted carriers, checking licenses, insurance, and documentation, and even called insurance companies directly to verify certificates. While thorough, this process was time-consuming and labour-intensive. STT Logistics Group began transforming the scenario with its own tech stack. It started with a customized CRM to simplify customer interactions and ensure data accuracy. “Contracts, purchase orders, and agreements that once took days are now fully digital, signed from anywhere and instantly updated in the system,” says Andre.
Building on this foundation, the company also introduced the STT Driver App. It allows drivers to verify their identity using biometrics, submitting a photo of themselves, their license, and their vehicle. The app also tracks the truck in real-time, sending automated notifications when a driver is nearing a pickup or delivery location, ensuring customers have accurate, up-to-the-minute updates.
While manual checks remain a part of the process, the app adds a new layer of security and transparency. By combining human diligence with cutting-edge innovations, STT Logistics Group sets the standard for carrier vetting, ensuring that customers can trust verified and accountable drivers to handle their goods.
Transparency that fosters Trust
In the logistics space, shipments often involve multiple moving parts and several companies work together, making challenges inevitable. What gives STT Logistics Group an edge is not the absence of issues, but how they are handled. Every client has access to multiple points of contact, including the primary agent, supervisor, dispatcher, and customer service team, ensuring open and responsive communication at all times. This structure minimizes miscommunication and gives clients confidence that their concerns will be addressed quickly.
The scale of operations reflects how complex the shipments can be. For example, transporting a Manitowoc 888 crane from Canada to Nigeria required dismantling the massive machine, hiring several trucking companies, multiple wreckers, and a separate crane company to load the disassembled parts. To meet such complexities, the company maps out every possible challenge and has deployable solutions if they occur. Their guiding principle is simple: Never call a customer with a problem unless you also present the solution. By anticipating challenges and maintaining open, honest communication, STT Logistics Group has positioned itself as a reliable partner to clients.
Building Resilience through Storms
Challenges can either be setbacks or bedrocks of a business. STT Logistics Group has faced its share of global and economic disruptions, but its strength lies in how it adapts. Whether navigating supply chain shifts during the Panama Canal delays or pivoting operations during the height of COVID-19, the company has remained transparent with customers. When heavy hauling slowed due to the pandemic, STT Logistics Group diversified into new niches, transporting food and medical supplies to keep its wheels running.
More recently, the “Great Freight Recession” tested the resilience of every brokerage in the U.S., with over 5,000 firms shutting down between 2023 and 2024. While that downturn was difficult, STT Logistics Group doubled and tripled its efforts to stay afloat, keep its sales alive, and weather storms. The discipline is paying off now. With fewer competitors in the market, STT Logistics Group has emerged stronger, demonstrating its resilience and adaptability.
Leadership that Inspires growth
Challenges and risks have proved to be the cornerstone of STT Logistics Group. And it has played an integral role in shaping its leadership. Andre acknowledges two key ways he has evolved as a leader: becoming more empathetic and learning to delegate effectively. Where he once approached mistakes with strictness, he now seeks to understand circumstances, offering solutions and support to help his team succeed.
This shift has fostered stronger relationships and a healthier workplace culture. At the same time, he has empowered departmental leaders to make decisions independently. This has helped in reducing bottlenecks while accelerating the company’s ability to respond to customer needs. By balancing empathy with trust in his team, his leadership has shaped STT Logistics Group into the trusted partner it is today.
The Next Frontiers of STT Logistics Group
As unexpected as STT Logistics Group’s inception was, the company has climbed stratospheric heights. What began with moving cars, motorcycles, and pickup trucks saw its turning point in 2016, when an oil and gas client asked the team to transport 13 pieces of heavy equipment. Despite any prior experience, STT Logistics Group accepted the challenge and delivered flawlessly. That success sparked a pivotal shift into heavy equipment transportation, opening doors to construction, forestry, rental, and trading industries. Since 2018, the company has been strengthening its global presence by onboarding an international shipping expert with decades of experience to expand its expertise in complex cross-border logistics. This shows that STT Logistics Group views change as an opportunity and believes in acting on it.
Looking forward, the company plans to double down on technology as its next frontier. STT Logistics Group is developing advanced platforms that integrate services for carriers and drivers, making operations smoother and more efficient. At the same time, a transparent customer portal is underway, slated for launch in early 2026, which will allow clients to track every detail of their shipments in real time. With promising prospects in sight, the company is sure to set new benchmarks that shape the future of global logistics.
